I'm lucky ( :D ) ebough to have a 62 that had the pinstriping running along the side. Since it's 16 years old it was worn and crappy looking so I picked it off, but it's baked on there. Does anyone sell the pinstriping so I can replace it with new stuff? It's a particular design and just regular old pinstriping from a car parts store won't cut it.

It doesn't really need to be painted quite yet, so I thought I would see if anyone knows.

Here it is before I took the leftover crap off

Umm, If it were mine, I'd leave it off. It looks like rock rash.

That's the point- What you're seeing is the old, leftover crap that is NOW been scraped off. It was on there so long though that you can still see where it WAS.

My 2 options now are: 1. Repaint the whole thing or 2. Cover it up with new pinstriping that WON'T look like road rash.

xrock,

there is a 60 in my town that has the "wood" sticker on the sides. looks kinda cool, a 60 woody

He can't do that, cos Im thinking about it.
