can anyone tell me what the stock fj40 pinion angle should be or should be close to. &nbsp:Doing a SR and things dont look too good. Thanks
 
It should be about the same as the angle on the transfer case output flange. More importantly, the caster angle should be correct because you probably wont be driving that fast in 4 wd. If you are using a magnetic angle finder it is all relative to the angle the rig is parked on. Make sure that your motor mounts are okay, assuming you have no transfer case cross member, and the castellated nut lines up with the hole in the motor mount bolt. This way the drive train is pointing the right direction. Buy a set of shims and longer leaf spring bolts if you need to correct it.
