Finally saw the sun today and snapped a photo of grey powder coat on silver. Mine is metallic silver, but I know a guy who lives nearby with a champagne/silver 100 and the colors are very very close. @Nature Calls

@ jtb517 - thanks for the pic. The champagne pearl is a different beast - i love the color, yet disdain it at the same time. :)

What color are your wheels (like them!) ? - Evo Gray as well? ...did you just rattle can them or have them done by a pro?

Feel free to look through my thread for some good close ups of the champagne pearl color. I had a deep scratch along the rear quarter panel on the passenger side so I decided to sand and repaint that area. Ended up turning into a much larger project than I had originally intended (was just going to be touchup; turned into a full paint correction w/ceramic coating) but it came out really nice! All the good photos are on pg.4

Repainting Damaged Quarter Panel; Input Needed!!

I had the wheels powder coated in stealth charcoal. It’s lighter than Evo and has a little bit more metallic flake in it.

@ TheForger - Thanks for the link! I like what you did in general with the black trim (awesome work on the paint fix!). I would love to see a photo-chopped version of what you did with the trim (and even front bumper) on your champagne rig in gun metal/evo gray vs. black

Hard to find pics on here for the silver/champagne color. Mine is a 2000 and 100% stock. Took the side running boards off and immediately looks better.

I’m wanting to see if anyone has one that they have painted the wheels, grille, bumper, side molding and or the bumpers. Wondering what colors look the best and if anyone had one out there so I can get an idea before I randomly go buy paint (I’m terrible at picking out colors at the store)

thanks in advance!
hey man! any update on your LC100? I looking to spruce up the look of my champagne one too.

Old thread but new to me as I’ve recently acquired my first LC, a 2001 1B1 champagne pearl, and wanted to add some pics. I thought it was grey when I bought it :)

The struggle IS real with this color. I first noticed how it changes once I held up the rear badges after painting them in a dark grey - thinking they’d look good. Nope.
I have since added the factory rack and rear air diffuser, both in black. Black seems to keep this color looking grey-ish, which I like, so the steelies might be getting a refinish and darker color in the future.

Love the "poverty pack" look with the steelies and painted bumpers and grill!

Its a good color. Not too dark not too light, color of dirt so it looks clean longer. I like mine!

Not a single photo with bronze wheels. Trying to figure out what's the right color wheels for this color hundy.

my 98 champagne pearl and another champagne pearl with a sweet bumper
