I'm thinking to repaint my FJ62 and wanted to see what others suggest. I'm not concerned about keeping her OEM since I plan on keeping it for a really long time so resale value doesn't apply here. I'm currently considering: brown or safari tan with brown interior, deep maroon/plum (Lexus RX350 color), dark graphite, or green. Any ideas or pictures of colors anyone wanna post?
* I don't plan on many mods as this car is pretty much a city vehicle that won't ever see a trail other than ski and hiking trips. Also, color suggestions aren't limited to just what was available for FJ62's - all other models considered.

Thanks!

Thomas

ummm, maybe search through ROTW & the introduction posts?

why not open it up to 60's?

depending on where you live, the inner temperature difference of desert/sand versus graphite can be significant.

the color of your current interior could factor in as well.

Tan, black and rust. Works for me!

I think 62s look best in dark and/or metallic colors, 60s look fantastic in tan.

x2 on look through the registry thread.

don't forget to accesorize with dog hair. :p

I have a silver 60 with lots of black "things" bumpers, sliders, etc. but I have seen a black 60 that had a great look to it. I think probably the best thing you can do to make a 62 look better is to "fix" the headlights! Mathmatically; ( )=TOYOTA=( ) > [ ][ ]=TOYOTA=[ ][ ].

I have black accent pieces on mine. Working towards the whole Black Out thing in my free time. :D
