Noah, I just wanted to post up pictures of the finished product. I'll dismantle it and get it shipped off in a few days. Any other projects let me know....

How much wood did you put in those posts? It looks like hardwood. If I was building those posts, I'd get some Cherry. That, a nice split peach, or rosewood. Was it hard keeping them upright? Did you have to bend over backwards to get it all to fit in such a tight spot? The finish seemed to come out well. It looks like hours were spent buffing wood getting it to stand out just right. Nice job. Noah will have many hours of satisfaction polishing his new wood. :D

What you don't see is are the retractable pullies in the top hole of each post. That way Noah can remove the canopy for a quick hookup. In addition each post has a small motor unit in it to give it that extra reality feeeeeel. :eek: :D
