Woohoo, the money is in Japan, and the RORO is booked. It's a [sometime in] February '92 build, so he's shipping it for an March early March arrival just to be safe. Just have to share, even though it's not a Cruiser ;p . 4spd OD auto 2.5L TD, moonroof, air shocks, snorkel, Warn winch, 2" lift, electronic adjustable shocks(unsure if they still work with the air shocks. I'll find out!), front and rear A/C, 61K documented KM, suspension seats, and the 2nd/3rd row seats fold down into a bed :grinpimp: . I haven't been this excited since I was a kid at Christmas time!

Real grade 4 too. I'm paying a little more than I planned to, but it's a got a neat story. An ex-pat Canadian who runs an exporting dealership (Jaeva) picked it out for himself a couple years ago, stored it, and then changed his mind. One owner before him, and it was never even insured by the dealer, just stored. I was referred to him by a contact on 4x4wire who is buddies with him. The best kind of deal: one not available to the general purchasing public ;) . I'm going to feel a little "overdressed" on the freeway every day going to work in it, but it'll all pay off when I have the family in the back, exploring the countryside. :D

congrates, the 2.5TI is a nice engine. not fast by any stretch but it pulls smooth.
i have been told the auto works very well behind the 2.5.
looks great, now the sleepless nights till it arrive, eh?

BTW, i finally got mine so in the next couple weeks i will be testing out the feel of the little truck. Berni took it to work todayand she is the hardest critic of the units that come in... i am looking forward to her report...

once again congrates

Yeah, fast is not a word you associate with the 4D56T, but then again I could have gotten out and walked faster than the LJ78 I test-drove before I found out the motors were self-destructive. It's torquey, so I can live with it. :D
