After full bath, clay bar run, Zaino prep and 3 coats of Zaino polish.......took sunroof deflector off and am debating on the bug deflector. I now know every square inch of this ride and im extremely pleased with what i purchased. I will be glad once the Nav screen comes in and thats fixed. Otherwise, pleased as punch.

Hope you enjoy.

Seriously...looks too good to drive :grinpimp: Better go out and wheel it off-road to get it over with

you bought the last one.

Ahhh... I see you opted for the fender flares and running boards instead.

I opted for a Land Cruiser...it just happened to have those two items already installed. Should I run out and grab an ARB bumper so that i dont look so "normal"?:flipoff2:

You're gonna find "normal" is an ARB.

Congrats on pulling the trigger. Miles? What was the final cost? I have an ARB Bumper that I had on my Trooper. It looks exactly the same. Will it fit my LC or are there different sizes?

Of course not. But after your first off-road foray...even a mild one...I'm bett'n the hook gets set;)

Ugh!!! Sequoia fender flares!

...just kiddin'! ;)

BTW, nice truck, good vintage.

Nice truck. Underneath the pretty exterior is a off roading supertruck. That gives great confidence wherever you may travel; on the highways or on the back roads. I keep mine clean which my wife enjoys, and as long as I clean it up after taking the back roads or trails (You did what?), I get few complaints (it sure cleans up nice).

Lookin good Yahtzee! Hey I noticed in your pics you had McGeorge license plate covers. I am one of their biggest customers...lol. I personally have bought 5 Toyotas from Dave Weimer and my family has bought a few others. Are you local in the West End of Richmond? I am from Goochland and was just curious. I just switched over to an 03 LX...but am having vibration issues with this beast. Been in 3 times to Lexus of Richmond for it...no resolve. Hopefully this will be worked out soon...

I think the best way to alleviate any vibration issues is to....

lift It ...Put stiff shocks on it..and put a set of Swampers on it...

Then you will NEVER worry about vibrations again ! :D

Yep - right off of Mill Rd and Mountain Rd. in Hunton Estates. (Glen Allen) I work up the street off of Nuckols Rd. Im still getting used to this truck. Ive always been a fan of driving - coming out of exit ramps nice and quick and not been as concerned about the fuel consumption. Its not that i cant afford the gas, its just mentally it pains me to be at the pump twice a week...

Hahah...riiiiggghht. I have been down that road plenty of times. I had 3 Tacomas...all lifted ofcourse! I do miss those trucks. But driving them everyday was another story. As far as this truck goes I don't think there is a lift out there that would quite satisfy me. I would have to take the Lexus into a custom fab shop, do a front axle swap...and then...we might get there. LOL...i think I will just wait until the this new 2007 Tundra hits the dealers...that baby will look RIGHT with a good extra 8-10 inches of lift!!!

Yeah these rigs definately are thirsty. I am not sure what you are running but if you are putting in 93...you can switch over to 87. My "Lexus" is supposed to use 93 but this is the same 4.7 as in all other Toyotas...runs great on regular. I am getting around 17.5 mpg after switching to Amsoil. I am gonna switch out the rear and front diffs this week and see how that helps. I used to have an H2...that tank got 14 mpg on a good day...down hill both ways if you know what I mean.
