How about a green ICON FJ40?

I know it's not the real deal,... & hope it doesn't rankle too many members by posting it.

The body got powder-coated last week. I chose a custom color,... sort of a 'martini-olive-green' color. I don't know exact color name, but I see some similar posted in this thread. I wanted to replicate the color TLC did on one of their previous restoration (pic below)

However, since the surface is powder (instead of glossier paint), the color doesn't show 'as true'.

Again - Love all the rigs!

Hey skidplate!

If you're referring to the completed (beautiful) FJ40 above - Unfortunately,... that's not mine. I just included it, as an example of, the color I was trying to replicate on my own vehicle (work-in-progress, body pic).

Mine is/will be a hardtop. The color of the roof cap will be the vintage stock white. My headlight bezel will be the same white, as well.

Your rig looks ready for the trail. It that an older shot? is it in Africa?

older yes, taken about 5 years ago in the California high desert. Its been parked for a few years. Just rolled it out of the garage last weekend, and working on getting it back on the road.

Before it got the Dune Beige 416. Forest green WITH metal flake. Almost went with Nebula Green

Was originally Spring Green.
