Ok. I have searched. If my boss only knew how much...

I have stock rims, 33x9.5 tires. I want to space them out a little. I have not been able to find photos of anyone with this tire/wheel setup with spacers!

if you have that setup, please post! I am trying to decide on 1.0", 1.25", or 1.5" spacers.

Comment about manufacturer is great to. What about JT?
JTO6LUG-1.25 [1.25 thick] - $85.00 : JTs Parts & Accessories, Justdifferentials.com

FYI, my truck is lifted only 1" with heavy Alcan springs.

Thanks!

My tires are new, and I drive 5000 miles a year. They will last until they dryrot.

I would of course like some flexibility if I were to transition to 10.5" next time, so I'm leaning toward 1" or 1.25" spacers.

I just don't want the skinnies to sit so far inboard!

Hi,

can't help with that exact setup. I run 255/85-16, which is very close to 33x9.5 I think. 33x9.5 is impossible to get in Europe. 255/85-16 is only in two/ three brands but still very hard to get by.

Anyway, I run 30mm spacers and OEM 16" steelies. It looks like this.

Good luck!

BTW: I would never use aluminum spacers. They won't hold.

MTEF that is a clean 60.

255/85/16's are just a touch over 10 inches wide. But AFAIK you can't really get 9.5 here anymore. I'm leaning towards 255/85/16 for my next set, but that means new wheels. Money money money.

You can still get 9s here, there are a handful of 32-33" 9" wide options, some of them are pretty sick. But you have to really look for them, these 36" 9" wides are one of two options other then Mich mils that I know of.
Sorry no help on the spacers, these are 1" spacers but the bs is not stock

I have never broke a set of alu spacers wheeling, Never heard of anyone either. Its not like running a alu wheel, that I would never do off road.

I'm sure the OP has searched here, but spacers are a lot different than adapters. I know I have the spacer term correct, as they simply put a space between the wheel and rotor/ drum. I'm sure upon that search it was indicated that there would be an empty space between said wheel and rotor/ drum. Adapters, however, bolt to your rotor/ drum, with nuts, and then the wheel is bolted to that. No empty space between the two. That is why, correct me if I am wrong in any of this, is why adapters are offered in such thicker thicknesses than merely spacers. and the adapter term came from adapting different bolt patterns to your factory bolt pattern. Am I way off topic here?

TallCan....I will heed your advice and resume wasting my boss's money by changing my search to 'adapters'. I figured 'adapters' were more for changing lug patterns.

I still want pics with 1,0-1,5" adapters or spacers!

Thanks

Adapters are for changing lug patterns. The wheel spacers are bolt on spacers. Simply because if you put on a 1.5" spacer you wouldn't have any threads left haha.

Sorry I don't have a picture. I've never heard of anyone putting on spacers with stock wheels and narrow tires. People usually run spacers to get a wider stance, clear their tires rubbing or to clear the tie rod end.

There must be someone...TTT

Ok, slackers, not photo's received exept one 'close' to what I was asking from Europe. thanks MTEF!

I have ordered the 'bolt-on spacer' from JT. I will not be home from work for 2 weeks, and then I'm getting married, so not sure when I will do the install. However, when I do it I'll post some photos.

In case anyone cares, I ordered the 1.25" ones (I saw an 80 on MUD with 1.25" and 255/85-16's) so if I don't like the look on my 60 I can always move them to the 80 (when it's due for tires). On the 80, the 1.25" spacker pushed the 255's right to the edge of the flares.

Sounds like you have a good back up plan there. Congrats on your wedding. Great, now it will never get done! :p

wheel spacers should probably be the least of my concerns, but for some reason they are not. Cruiseritis is a nasty affliction.
