This is a pic from a place called "la gran sabana" with a mountain (TEPUY) called "RORAIMA" on the background....

roraimadorals5.jpg

Notice the mountain is a strange formation (tepuy) only given here in venezuela, ontop this "TEPUY" there is the called oldest place on earth....

Hope you like the pic....

Lastima que estaba nublado en la cima .. no se aprecia tan claro como debería ..

Nice pic dude .. thanks for sharing with us !

Very Nice!

That should be the last place to go on Easter ..... too crowded: ice, beer, food, etc. run out right away and sometimes lines of 3 or 4 hours at the gas stations to refill your tank are quite common.

Have friends who live there and in this time of the year they run away as fast as possible before the happy campers came in.:grinpimp:

Please post more pictures that show how breath taking is this place !!!!

Alvaro: I guess it will bring back some good memories and perhaps a couple of tears .....

Yeah, x2 on more pix.

Robmir,

No tears, all good memories. I have nothing to be sad for.
I would tear up if I stopped doing what I love to do. But I haven't. I can't say that I've traded La Gran Sabana for The Rubicon or Moab. That would not do service to any of these places. Instead, I've carried the same spirit across.

Saludos

Good for you, and I am happy you do what you love to :)

I hear from some guys with their family who moved to Australia, some others to Quatar and other middle east places who are making a lot of money but given the choice, would come back in a blink of eyes, that's a sad history.

I fell in love with pictures of that area in Nat'l Geographic when I was a teen. I believe it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. So much so that I keep thinking about moving to Curacao just to be near it.
