Going in to do main seal and oil pump seal and swap out radiator, and want to see what hard-to-reach stuff that opens up for inspection/replacement. (Water pump and blue fan clutch already done.) PO did squat. Suggestions welcome, thanks!

Builds - 1993 80, BUILD, another "it has begun" for fjbj40!
Finally started the baseline process. Winter is here and all the ice and salt requires she not go outside! She has 285,000 miles on her and I bought her last March in Stockton Cali. Yesterday I stripped down the front axle. I have the knuckle kit but it turns out both birds require replacement...

Thanks for the down-angle! If you find one angled toward the cab, I'm all eyes. Does this make the fuel filter easier to reach? As to PS, I have a Gates U-hose, but have read that they don't quite fit the mounting bracket...?

I pulled the intake so fuel filter was easy! But the filter IMOP is not that difficult. I have small hands and have been doing more difficult jobs than that filter all my career as an aircraft mechanic.
I replaced my PS hose, I think the brand I used is in the build. Yea, the mounting bracket didn’t fit like the original but it still fits and does what is supposed to do.
Sunsong was the PS hose I used.
