petrol to diesel , need your help (1 Viewer)

i just bought my dad 1996 4500 carb engine with 5 speed manual red color
its been in the family since the begining of its life
and we all grow with it , betwen seats and with alot of memories with it
my dad want to add it to the family id card , and i have tried before to buy it from him and finaly he agrees

it look alot like this one

now i want to swap the engine for better fuel consumption one + diesel is much much cheaper in here
i am thinking of going diesel 1HD engine , planning of almost daily using it

and need your help
what parts should i get before start pulling out the old engine ?
in case it take alot of time i can order it now till i finish find good engine in decent price
