petrol smell (1 Viewer)

Hi, Hope someone can help.
Sometimes there is a very strong smell of petrol fumes ( Gasoline ) especially towards the rear of the cabin in my 1998 LC.
Toyota have not been able to find the cause.
There are no leaks at all.
I have noticed that the emptier the tank becomes the greater the smell.
Also, if I do a lot of cornering it becomes very strong.

What is the approx. OUTSIDE air temperature when this odor is present, or does it vary ?

Thanks All, for your replies. I'm going to try the Charcoal canister remedy. It happens in summer and winter so I don't think that it is a temperature problem.
SWUtah, could you explain where, in the rear of the LC, it is?

No, ( I am in Uk ) It cost £195 ( $340 )
