SOLD

I have a Pertronix Ignitor II electronic ignition conversion set up, along with the matching Flame Thrower II coil. Both were installed in my '74 FJ40 for about a year and are in good shape.

Ignitor II Part No. is 91665A; coil part no. is 45111.

According to Pertronix, this fits '70 through '74 FJ40s, but check to be sure. It worked fine with my small cap '74 distributor.

New prices are about $100for the Ignitor and about $50 for the coil, so around $150 total.

SOLD

Hmm, surprised by the lack of interest -- Pertronix stuff is usu. in demand. FYI, this is the Ignitor II module -- the "better" and more expensive of the two versions that Pertronix makes for the early 70s FJ40.

Price Reduced. I don't think my asking price is too high -- the last similar set up sold here for $120 over a year ago. If there isn't any interest by this weekend I'm going to list it on feeBay.

Thanks.

Price reduced again -- now $75. Someone out there must need a Pertronix set up! This is in like-new condition -- it was installed in my 40 for about a year while the truck sat in the garage during restoration work.

I'll take it. Been on my list.

Did you sell?? Will this fit a 1980 cap?

Sorry this is sold. If your FJ40 is a 1980, or has a distributor from a 1980, it already has electronic ignition and you don't need a Pertronix conversion. Unless you have a non-USA 1980 dizzy, which likely does have points.

Yes - Have electronic ignition - however internals are bad - would like to replace
