30Jul2005 (UTC +8) Ever heard of Zinga, for cold galvanization? It costs about US$100 per gallon, and its supposed to protect the metal for up to 30 years even at sea. According to the manufacturer it's even better than hot-dip galvanizing, in terms of metal preparation, application, rust-prevention, and re-application. I wonder how many gallons a 40- and an 80-series LC each would take? It's just sprayed on like urethane paint. http://www.zingacanada.com/comparison.htm and/or http://www.zinga.be/html/comparison/comparisonB.htm I'm thinking about it for a near future restoration project, as we live near the sea and I take my LC's and Hilux on ferry rides often. Another q: is it supposed to be applied before OR after Bondo?
