Thanks is that for a swb or lwb?

This manual doesn’t show any info for a LWB pickup . Also there are no 1964 LWB pickup models listed in the LWB pickup owners list? Were some manufactured in ‘64 and then sold (brass tagged) in ‘65 and titled as such?

LP picture is a SWB. I’m assuming if it was for a LWB it would have the LP-B designation. But then again, it is marketing literature 😂.

I don’t have any LP-B (LWB) weight info, if someone does and posts up then there’d be a comparison point. Hint hint. I would guess the LP-B weighs more.

Hey Brian do you know if this one is a direct bolt on or do you need to getting a fitting to adapt to the smaller fitting on the newer clutch master cylinder. Got the truck registered and insured today just want to get the right clutch master cylinder on it. Thanks for your help

No, the posted cylinder is for a much later (71+ I think) 40/45. The brake and clutch masters are exactly the same, except for the valve and bore of the cap at the end which comes off with the big nut.

Buy the brake master - OEM Brake Master Cylinder for '58 to '70 Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ45 - https://www.cityracerllc.com/products/oem-brake-master-cylinder-for-58-to-70-land-cruiser-fj40-fj45 - and then merely swap the valve and end cap off of the old one to the new one (and the tin cup), bolt in, bleed and you are good to go.

What is everyone using for shocks on their trucks? I just got new tires and want to get new shocks to make the ride a little softer and replace the worn out ones on it now.

It was 54 degrees here today so I drove the truck around for a couple of hours. I found the right early hinges for the doors so going to put the doors on tomorrow.

Now that's what I call patina.

Still have no doors on it in March

I’ve been driving the 64 almost every day this summer.

Does anyone have the measurements from the pillar to the windshield frame on their fixed top 45’s. My doors aren’t lining up well at the top front corners. My windshield frame near the bottom on each side is pinched from a heavy hit or load on the roof at one point from the previous owner. Was just wondering how far off my windshield frame is out of place or if anyone has ran into other similar issues when mounting these early style doors. Thanks for anyone’s help

I see the pinch, but your measurement appears to be nearly the same as Ken’s @KT40, no? I’d measure my ‘63 but it has the fixed windshield so maybe apples and oranges. If I was to straighten the windshield frame and I could remove it, I’d do that (and remove the glass). Doing that insitu seems like a good opportunity to create more problems 🤷‍♂️.
