Just wanted to pass along some product insight I got from the muscle car realm, not sure if its made its way into these oldies.

Just used Poppy's Patina Wipe on clear, with catalyst and the results are amazing. Super easy to do too.

@wngrog You ever hear of these wipes? You would use something like this instead of CLR + penetrol or fluidfilm, right?

Sounds like a final application more like Penetrol is.

I still would think you would need to prep it all. Clean with CLR where appropriate. Buff. Shine then maybe this product.

Similar to the boiled linseed oil step.

I’m hesitant to permanently seal patina. That’s like painting over rust. I’d rather treat it multiple times a year and let it breath
