Passenger Side engine oil leak near oil filter (1 Viewer)

I have a slow engine oil leak on my 3FE (other then my pan gasket) and its on the passenger side. It looks like it's coming from near the oil filter, but it's not coming from the filter itself. Is there a common leak on these when they get near the 170k mark?

More than likely it's the side cover that accesses the engines lifters. That cover has a cork like gasket. It could be that.

On the 3FE in a 62 there is the oil pressure sendung unit it below the oil filter. Check to see if any drips off of it.

X2 on the side cover gasket. It runs the length of the block behind the distributor.

Doh, I was hoping it wasn't the side cover. LOL

I ought to do that gasket either way. Thanx
