Passenger heater hoses - easy question (1 Viewer)

I want to temporarily remove the passenger heater unit from my HDJ81.
This will be a stupid question, but I am going to ask it anyways:

What are the 2 hoses leading to the heater core full of?
Is it coolant?

I am not going to disconnect them then. No rust or corrosion problems, so it would be more trouble than it's worth.
