Hi all I'm a newbie so I hope I 'm doin this right.....lol
I used to have a 78 fj45 wich I'm sorry I sold years ago in the 80s not knowing that these tlcs had such a following.
Through the years I seen these things getting more and more popular and I still had that cruiser bug so about a month ago I found a 1980 fj40 one owner and almost show room condition
and it arrived about a week to this day....
The person never smoked but the ashtray is damaged I think he used it as a small glove box so I'm looking to find one if anybody has some info where I could get one please let me know.
Also the spare tire holder (tube style) rattles like crazy and it drives me nuts
it seems like a bushing (or something) at the top has worn because there is lots a palt in it.
.....any suggetions or help would much appreciated.
