My LJ78 while having only 60k miles is having charging system problems, think it’s the alternator. I’m guessing adding a subwoofer to the battery load is giving the original alternator a hard time. Anybody ever order parts from Asia? The cheapest OEM part I’ve found is from toyotadxb.com. Shipping from Dubai. Or does anyone know of other places I could get one in the USA? Part number for the alternator is 2706054030, if anyone was wondering.

I checked amayama and partsouq, amayama has one for $1000 and partsouq has no availability.

An OEM alternator will run you $1000. That's what I bought.

You can also get a Terrain Tamer alternator for like $300 or so. I think they source from someone else and re-label it. You could look on eBay australia as well.
