i have 79 toyota with 135k miles and a cracked block. im parting it out but i dont really know what the parts are worth. any help would be great

With the 20R engine? I need the air filter housing for a 78. I'm assuming they're the same?

Some pics would be helpful in determining value.

a good trans might be worth $200
is it 2x4 or 4x4?
if its a 4x4 the front axle might be worth $250 and the rear $100
doors and hood $150
seats $25 for both

you could remove the cab, cut the frame and make the bed into a trailer. seen those go for $200.

grille bezels and front trim maybe $75

all the prices depend on the demand in your area, and the condition.
In my area, toyotas are very popular, and it sells for more
than say, Onehorse town, Utah.

Some of the larger parts my not be worth much if they have to be shipped.

If it's really a nice truck, why don't you just drop a new or rebuilt engine in? You could probably even upgrade to a 22R or 22RE.
