Parabolic Leaf Springs

One of my friends just installed parabolic springs on his fj60 which seem to ride real smooth. I do not know much about them and would be concerned about how they would hold up under extreme conditions. I am also thinking about a suspension upgrade for my 40 this spring and have previously convinced myself to go with an OME system.

I just thought I would put this out there to see if anyone had any comment, good or bad, on parabolic springs.

I've been thinking about this upgrade myself. There's a huge thread on parabolics in the 60's section, do a search for parabolic and it will come up.
