The paint code is on the drivers door/sill area.

Locate the large decal with the bar code on it, then look in the lower left corner of the decal. You will see "C/TR", the FIRST 3 digits or combination of digits and letters is the exterior color code ( 1C8 for example).. the next 4 digits are for the interior color code (FB40 for example)

If your vehicle is two-toned, then you need a Toyota chart to split up the upper paint from the lower paint (cladding) code

Trim code......is that the bumpers?

Paint 'em the same color as the body. 100s are pimp, and Shott's 100 is pimptastic...his bumpers are painted to match the truck...looks good.

Once you have the color, where does one buy the Toyota/Lexus paint & clear coat?

Any auto paint store. I lined it up today, just need to get them the code.

I like the contrast. The plastic trim still is the darker color, would like to keep the sliders/bumpers that way too.

I've found the paint code to the main body color (4R2) by the sticker on the door pillar, but it doesn't say what the cladding code is. In fact, I didn't even know the cladding was a different color, but the lexus-parts.com shows that there is a sand dollar for the body (4R2) and sand dollar for the cladding (4C2). Any way to confirm this?

Dealership was able to look up my paint code using the VIN. If it's two-toned, the cladding color will be obviously different from the body color. Also, one can try www.paintscratch.com.

Yeah, but I like color coded. And, honestly, which one of us will own this 100 two years from now. I'm just trying to save myself a step here.

Now who's the nerd? :flipoff2:
