so i recently bought the truck with 136k miles from my friend, dealer maintained since new drove it for a few days and 4lo started to blinking, check engine, and trac off while i was driving. That scared the crap outta me, plugged the techstream and it turned out to be p0420, if any had an issue and solved it pls let me know. bad o2 senor, bad cat, bad fuel. i think he use to pump it regular gas not premium, that might cause it idk.

Use a bottle or two of cataclean and use premium non ethenanol in the gas tank. Is there a bad sulfery smell also?

No smell.
No smell means it may be a bad o2 sensor or there may be pinhole leaks in a part of the exhaust that may cause it to throw a cat code

It turned out to be the catalytic converter on the left side. The previous owner installed a aftermarket.
