P0330 code, need a little help with wiring 82219-35010

So now I have P0330 code., #2 knock sensor, replaced both sensors, the rear one the connector was no good, I ordered part # 82219-35010. So no real clear directions here except “splice”. One end fits on the knock sensor, the other end has 2 wires, one orange one black. So being the wire from the other side was black I spliced into the black wire to the wiring harness, now I still have the code. Was I supposed to splice both wires on the end into the single blue wire coming from the engine wiring? I couldn’t find any clear thread on this, just kept reading easy fix and just splice it, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
