Well I am about to complete a 1982 FJ45 Australian RHD complete restoration and I realized that to make it really complete it would be nice to have a glove-box owners manual for this year (like in photo). I just spent 45 minutes on the IH8MUD site with no real finds for a manual for this year/model. Anyone on the planet willing to make a copy of what they have on PDF, scanned, posted on IH8mud, or copies for this year and model or ? I am willing to pay a few yen for the trouble.
While searching I noticed may others with the same needs for different years and model land cruisers. Would be something if we had a library to put them in on this site for reference and down load, or maybe I miss that part somewhere.

Manual

Hi Kevin, how's things going?
Well I guess a 1978 owners manual for a 1982 is better than no manual at all.
I do not think it would be to much different in information.
This is a Australian rig from NSW, they seem to be a little different from the rest of the country in how their emissions standards are but maybe someone from down under knows better than I.
Is it the Canadian book? I know that the US and Canadian books varied slightly on emissions and such from the European and Australian books.
Yeah, if its no trouble I would like a copy and possible some others could down load it also who may be in need.
BTW I will be up in your area around the end of July, can I drop by, depending on time? PM me.
Thank much

Yes, mine is a Canadian edition. I'll take it to work and try and get it all scanned this week.

When you say you'll be up my to area, do you mean Calgary? If it is I'm always up for meeting a fellow cruiser head. I'll even buy the coffee.

Sure, but you will have to PM me with your email address as it is a PDF file.
Don't forget to post your new 45 photos and info on the new 45 owners area of IH8mud.
Thanks

Nice stack of bibles you have. Are they for sale or for copy?
I was told that the OZ manuals were a bit different but not so much were the changes made much difference for critical reference.

I understand J. I too am letting some items go as they just don't get used.
If you will let me know about the 1982 manual for my glove box. Would be a good match.
Take care D.
