Does anyone have a picture of how the radiator overflow bottle mounts on a 74 FJ40?
I got a bottle and mount off Ebay but I don't see where it mounts.

This is the bottle and mount I have.

I don't have a picture, but it mounts in the front right corner. There should be a couple of threaded bolt holes about 1' forward of the ignition coil on the horizontal surface of the inside fender. The bracket shown in your diagram bolts to that horizontal surface.

The reason that you can't find the holes is because the bottle wasn't offered until 1975! You'll have to drill your own holes.

Best to do it with the bottle out of the holder.

And be REALLY CAREFUL about unscrewing the bolt in the band clamp; they have a tendency to SNAP!

Good luck!

I kinda was thinking that...What did the 74 have for an overflow.
I checked my 72 but it doesn't have one.

I have 2 brackets so I should be good (if it breaks).
