We really love our CVT tent

one of my gifts today. My dad got this hatchet kit, made the scales using some marble wood. Made two more for each of my brothers (@orion). Pretty cool handmade Christmas gift. Anybody else get any outdoor swag today?

That's nice!

2 wheel drive gas cart from Cabelas.
A lot of fun to drink beer and cruise the neighborhood. Laura has wanted one for a long time

I can tell Jax doesn’t like it at all....😎

That's a SLICK hatchet.

I bought this hatchet at the last gun show I attended in Huntsville. Then I met a local craftsman and had him make the sheath and handle guard.

Not exactly, I was looking for a pistol but didn’t find what I wanted there. The hatchet was a nice participation prize! I did find and buy what I was shopping for on line about a week later. But it was not a revolver.

More hatchets.....

I had one my dad gave me about 20 years ago. I somehow managed to break the handle a few years back but I kept the head. Was cleaning out the garage the other day and found it and started a restoration.

I ground and polished the metal, bought a new handle, sanded it down to a 600-grit finish, burnt in some texture on the bottom of the handle to improve the grip and then burn the end to add some character. After that I soaked the whole thing in linseed oil overnight. Went ahead and gave it to Mack today. He definitely scored off my Corona virus boredom.
