Oh, and I forgot about the damn doors but I have some donor doors that may not have rust, or be as rusty as some of mine.

So I had this idea where I actually wanted to see in my pickup's rear view mirrors for a change and I borrowed the 60's mirrors to see what that did for me. Needless to say, I love the look and the fact that I can finally see! So with that said, I went ahead and got a brand new set of the appropriate euro mirrors for when the 60 goes back together.
Pics below.

Hell yeah! The white one is my old truck. I am cleaning that and getting it back on the road. No resto. The green was the savior of my brown diesel. Can't get enough cruisers bud!!

So today I decided it was time to stop working on the beast, **** it! Pardon my French too. There is so little left to do, cap the quarters and do a bit of work on the fenders and doors. I am done, I have no desire to finish all that s*** myself! At this point I want to set it ablaze, lol.
With that said, she is going on the trailer next week and onto my buddy's shop to finish the last bit of welding and then body work and paint eventually.
I thought this would never end but I am thinking it's finally getting there.
Just an update, that is all.

She has been dropped off at the shop. I did forget to bring the fenders with me so I have to take another 7 hrs round trip to drop those off!
I only have a couple pics of it being dropped off.

I paid a quick visit to the shop, as I'd forgotten to bring the fenders with me the last goaround. Looks like they will be taking it to bare metal. The truck had been painted too many times and it's probably for the best to start fresh.
See below.

I hope you're pulling the windshield and quarter panel glass to check for any hidden corrosion. It's well worth doing.

I am excited to see this thing through. I will be cleaning parts this afternoon in preparation for future assembly.
