Over The Mountain Cruisers - Birmingham, AL - Hiring a mechanic who wants to specialize in Land Cruisers, and our customer’s 4x4 repairs, fabrication, and outfitting.
OTM Cruisers opened May of 2021, and is looking for a mechanic who can grow with this exciting new business. Customers include Land Cruiser owners and enthusiasts from all over the country, as well as a large and always growing local customer base from the Birmingham area. OTM Cruisers is highly involved in the local organization Dixieland Cruisers and enjoys community outreach by hosting Dixieland Cruiser meetings, wrench days, and organizing monthly rides/camping trips. OTM Cruisers prides itself on a culture that is relaxed and enjoyable, but highly professional. OTM Cruisers serves as a gathering point for the Birmingham Land Cruiser community with BBQ Friday’s and a steady stream of clients who stop by and enjoy the shop. Mechanic must be able to juggle this social environment with helping the team accomplish work goals on time.
Requirements include: Basic knowledge of Land Cruisers and/or experience as a mechanic, willingness to learn and specialize in Land Cruisers, maintain a tidy workstation, and attention to detail.
Position available is full time option for W2 or 1099 employment. Employed mechanics offered a 401k with company match after 6 months at OTM.
