Orion Transfer (1 Viewer)

Hi ya'll,

I am considering doing the swap to a Orion Transfer case. Problem is I don't know when how I will cut out time to rip apart the case and swap out the orion parts. Does anyone have a recommendation for a transmission shop here is SoCal that they would trust with this. I can get an hour or two to drop the box from the rig and then drop it and parts off, just don't want to get torn away mid project by my 3 young kids. Appreciate any help. I need to slow down in the rocks and have had a tough time getting response from extreme bends to get parts I need to do a sm420 swap.

Sorry, but I do not know of any local shops. Since you are in San Diego County have you checked: Noah's Arks Toyota Landcruiser Specialists San Diego

I don't know him but he is a MUD member in San Diego that could possibly help.

Swapping in the Orion parts is not too hard. I am not the greatest mechanic but I did the swap over 10 years ago and have had no issues. I did have a Toyota Master Tech looking over my shoulder though... Good luck!

Thanks for the responses guys, I will check out Noah for sure, even better, he's about 5 miles from me. Will update how it all goes.
