I was wondering if anyone had considered the idea of swapping in the Orion t-cae with 4:1 low range on thier BJ. I've been considering this for some time now but have been hesitant due to the fact that there is no listing on Advance adapters site for a companion to my 5 speed tranny. Is there much difference in the 5 speed that I have and the 4 speed that advance adapters lists. Will this T-case work for me with little or no modification. Is it worth the $1500 or should I go with an alternative. My T-case is in need of a rebuild so any option would require me to undertake a rebuild.

The last info that I take about this theme 2 years agoo when I'm in the re-geared process was the orio not match with our H55F .. the only option that we have in process ( at this time ) was Marlin Toy box and he's design to work with H55F.

More than that .. Marks low gears ( my choice .. )

Hi All:

Yes, Tapage is correct.

The Orion t-case is a direct replacement for the older one-piece Land Cruiser t-cases. The four speed transmissions that came with the one-piece t-case have less splines on the output shaft than do the late four speeds and the H55F.

Regards,

Alan
