Cut it, fold it in half, and pull. Dremel makes a few small tools that will fit in there. I used a small punch and a hammer to get under one side of it. As soon as you can peel one side up, it should pull right out.
 
yeah, that sounds good, but i'm having trouble getting under it-it keeps breaking off instead of bending.
 
I bent it in on two sides and used a pair of pliers to work it out.

Next time I do a case, if the bearing is not in rough shape I think I will leave it...

I had the same problem with it breaking or chipping. I ended up grinding the race carefully with a carbide burr until it split and fell out.
 
crap...I forgot to mention the most important part. Calm down, do you best not the throw it...lay it down slowly. Take a break, maybe grap lunch, and then try to get that :censor: bearing out. :D
 
that's just what i did. got it out with a dremel flathead and a hammer.
