Did the 1978 FJ40 come standard with one or two speakers? And where are they/it located. They probably weren't the best of quality, but I am interested nonetheless.

One speaker in the glove box, facing out the right side, in my '76.

My 78 has one speaker. Not in the glovebox but on the right outside attached to the side of the glovebox facing down. It is between the box and the side kicker panel

x2 My plan is to mount one in the same place on the drivers side and use each as the external speaker for my cb and quad band ham respectively
