? original running boards (1 Viewer)

my 69 that has been stored 30 years has a white hard plastic inserts in the running boards. was this stock? i havent seen any like them.

yep its stock and they should look like this(on my 67 fj45)

these repalced the short running boards starting on fj40 frame # fj4030000, I forget when the stoped, prolly 69ish. And you can not get the insert anymore so be carefull with it

prolly something from a marine store or maybe in industial carpet/flooring outfit, I have seen some rubber stair treads that might work. A while back someone over on CCOT board had found something he thought might work...never heard if it did or not.
