So I am going to try and rebuild my carb using the 96-309B carb kit. I am an 82 60 with the 2F and the carb is stock? I found a 2G but not any of the numbers they show on the website.

Am I missing something. It has a 2G on the carb

Also, is this a filter I broke?

I think the thing you broke is a vacuum check valve.
Not sure about your kit question. Although the 96-309B kit is supposed to fit 75-87 Toyota Land Cruiser Aisan.
I don't know what that 2G 1 marking means on your carb

Carb looks original to me.

I’d suggest to order a carb kit from @cruiseroutfit

On their website you can also find information about identifying the age of your carb. 4 digit code stamped somewhere on the air horn IIRC

That 2G is just part of the build date.

The broken plastic thing is a check valve. Used to be available from Toyota a year or so ago. You can leave it out with little effect.

You may need a secondary diaphragm which is not included in the zip kit.
