Orange/black wire coming from stereo harness (1 Viewer)

Hey errrybody! I'm wiring up a new head unit and coming from the small female connector, on the Metra harness kit, there is an orange wire with a black stripe. What is this for? It is on the same connector as the rear speakers, so i was suspecting it was the subwoofer, however there is no (-) for it. What do i do with it?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I believe that is the illumination (-) wire.

Probably not usable for an aftermarket HU.

It is the illumination wire as stated, universal colors on aftermarket installation plugs.

Yes it is Illumination for the aftermarket kit. Works great on mine (dims it) when the lights go on.
