Opinions - positive or negative - for Good Carma Automotive? (1 Viewer)

Buddy of mine bought my 97 cruiser and has driven it for a couple of years. Coinciding with the recent cold snap, it blew a head gasket. One of his co-workers recommended Good Carma in Buda (Good Carma Automotive – Quality Auto Repair at a Great Price - http://goodcarmaauto.com/) and I was curious to see if anyone had any experience with them?

I had them do the water pump and valve cover gaskets on my 2003 Tacoma's V6 a couple of years ago. They charged me about shop-rate for the task and I was satisfied with the work.

I think mostly they are a custom hotrod shop, but they'll take other work when they don't have enough of that to do.

BTW, the owner is into LandCruisers. He owns a really nice 80 series that's usually in the parking lot.
I recently saw a 70 series that is in the parking lot often that is probably his.
