and the bazillion o-rings that 6.0s have too

6.0s are practically the only work we have anymore..................

Haha. I imagine that.

I'm crossing my fingers that Ford did better with the 6.4, so far it doesn't seem like it will be a turd like the 6.0, but I guess only time will tell.

Yeah the first couple we got had some odd problems, EGR being one of them(imagine that) but since then they seem to be better so far.

who can forget this little jewel?

YouTube - 6.4 Ford diesel flame thrower option

this was a recall but it was only a PCM re-flash

I remember the 6.0s were bad right outta the box

now the 6.4s are splitting radiators(Ford promises they changed vendors on this one)

been doin' a couple of them a week

I'm selling 'em for about $430 each(warranty price)

there might even be a recall on this

and of course, if there's a recall they'll change the price to $100

Old thread revival of 18 yers ago

Now in 2025 of all the close 2 million Ford Superduty with the 7.3 diesel produced from 1999-2003 725.000 of these are still driving around 25 years later.

The mileage of some of these trucks are now marking 850K. to over a million miles without engine rebuild.

Seeing these amazing facts recently acquired 2 of them, a 1999 and 2000 F250 and are technically preparing and dressing them up to go in full daily service again

How many would be still in MUdders hands.?

I gave my son my 2000 F350 CCLB. 310K on the engine. We just had to replace the injection wiring harnesses under the valve covers and the injection computer, but it still has great power and reliability. I figure after 25 years it leaving me stranded twice is pretty good..
