opinions/experience with 1PZ motors?

Sounds like a different deal. I have a friend looking at these so I have not laid hands on them, but according to the data tags he took pictures of these definitely have the 1PZ, not the 1HZ. So... it seems that we may have two different stashes?

Cool! I thought it would be unlikely that anyone knew about my stash. I do know the rigs that you are looking at though, if they are up in Fairbanks. Two are near- complete with two parts rigs. All have under 50k miles. All I can say, is that if they make their way out of Fairbanks, I would be quite suprised. The local Cruiser crowd is plotting their dismemberment. Although the deterant for most is that owner of the rigs wants $7,500 for the lot. He won't seperate them. I always thought those 1PZ's would be absolutely great in a lightly modded FJ-40. Someday... For now I'll be installing a 1HZ in my 60 with a H55 and a full floater. Looking forward to double the mpg

Sounds like the stash I am talking about. One of the Locals up there who may not be heavy in the "scene" but is a definite Cruiser Guy is primary on this. He called me about them and a couple other rigs he had just scored and I told him I would be interested in forging ahead with him if the details work out right.

Have to see if it shakes out or not.
