Not a fan of South American trucks because they were used for their intended purposes. Plus your mostly getting 43's with no heaters, fiberglass sides, etc... Just not my cup of tea.

Since my gauge cluster is no more effective than a decal, I track speed and mileage (and indirectly fuel level - sort of) with an app on my phone. Anyway, the old Jalopy has been running well and I felt the need to post this:

Back to back days this week. Parking lot battle narrowly avoided. Lol. Cintas too!!! But my wrenching uni's have been ending in trash instead lately. Wonder if they can get out 90w, brake fluid and moly stains?

I worked at a company building trash trucks when I was 19. The shop foreman would not allow me to buy tools from the Snap On guy. He told me to wait until I had a few years under my belt before going into hock for tools.
I've know plenty of guys over the years with monthly tool bills as high as a car payment. Go into any high traffic dealership and you'll see guys in their 20s with over $10K in tool boxes alone. Bet you the farm that in one of those drawers is their account books for Snap On and Mac.

Snap-On all the way.
The great thing about Snap On is the pricing. Buy one wrench, socket, screw driver, or the whole set, it's all the same(no bread for buying in bulk). I agree with NCFJ about guys with big monthly (really weekly, @ credit card interest rates) tool payments. I just buy one or two tools every couple months or when I need something and pay on the spot. In fact I called my guy in Charlotte today and ordered a few face pin spanner wrenches. Pick up a few Flank Drive wrenches to start with.
