I have a number of old one barrel Aisin carbs that I am rebuilding
in order to get one functioning carb. I have some that have a
big float window and some with a smaller float window. Do you know
which is the "latter" one barrel carb? There were a few other changes
in the carbs in the mid 60's, but probably too minor to worry about.

Thanks.

the small window was the latter, I wanna say it changed from big in 65, to small in 66-7(and early 68) the brass floats(as you prolly know) can not be found but they will swap between big and small window.

the small window carb also has an idle selnoid, big window(at least mine) doesn't

Mine on my '65-45 wagon does not have an idle solenoid either...

I have a a BIG and a SMALL, both with the idle solenoid. The small
window does not have the "step up rod", which was deleted sometime
in 67?? SOR seems to sell carb kits for the early carbs for versions
with and without the idle solenoid. Who knows?

My next trick is to find out how my hand throttle hooks up. Thanks
guys!

will this help?

this is the 65 large window, stock linkage and hand trottle set up.

This helps a ton. What I can't figure out is where your
accelerator cable is. I see the choke cable and the throttle
cable, but not the cable from the accelerator pedal. Perhaps
you have a modified car like FDR used to drive <grin>. Or
perhaps its here ???

your arrow points to it, its the treaded rod, next to were the hand trottle hooks up.

I think I figured out why your pictures don't work for me. Specter shows
that in '68 Toyota went to cable linkage for the accelerator. So I don't
have the link I pointed to in your picture. It appears that my hand
throttle is supposed to hook to the accelerator pedal but I see no such
provisions for it. At the moment the throttle runs through the firewall
and lies unattached, in the vicinity of the carb. I bet it used to connect
there somewhere -- I'll use your photos to see if I can figure it out.
Thanks Pimp.
