Need a few good ideas on this one.
My FJ40 1963 was lifted about 8" reverse shackle and sprung over. I have lowered the truck by going back under and using a 2.5" OMU kit. I did new drive shafts and all is looking good. The issue I am having is on the test drive, i started getting a weird metal grinding noise, at first is sounded like a bearing but now I am not sure.
It is not constant and happens intermittently - fades in and then fades out. The only two things that come to mind are the drive line angles changed (for the better) or some how something got misaligned. The noise does not seem to be coming from the drive lines.
Any ideas on this one...
