This is actually something i would be interested in as well. Does it happen often? Are there any major disadvantages in going with a previously used setup? Can you get the castor correction bushings seperate?

for starters no it would not be bad to use a used suspension set up. plus as far as the correction bushings go they can be had seperately but I think the 6" lift will be utilizing a different means of castor correction and will utilize the stock bushings.

[glow=black,2,2]I'm actually running coils from one fella , and shocks from another . Both were similar in age and quality . It drives like a dream ... and why wouldn't it ? It's not as though you're bastardizing some setup off a h33p and welding it onto your 80 . It's apples and apples ; in my case Royal Gala ;)

[glow=black,2,2]Go to Slee Offroad for your bushings ... four off the shelf is better than four second hand . :D[/glow]

    Tyler,
my point being the person going to the six inch left might want the stock arms and bushings on the other truck rather than both of them buying new ones.

Bought my OME heavy kit from a friend used, shocks and uninstalled CC bushings. Love it and it drives like new. Don't hesitate to get a used kit.
