Did the rear brakes on the 80 last weekend (1996, 253k miles, OME 2.5" lift, 850/863, on 35s & 4.88 gears...) and noticed shock fluid leakage collecting dust on the rear DS OME shock, circa ~2010. Start looking for replacements - will do all 4 corners - and noticing that OME has updated their branding, if not the mechanical.

1. Anybody have experience with this latest generation of OME shocks?
B) Will they work with my 2.5" OME lift?
III: Will they feel like my old ones, or work better (GVW=6,400lbs when overlanding)? TIA,

When OME switched to the Nitro Sport, they were considerably firmer and not as "comfortable" as the classic Nitrochargers. They'll work with your lift, but they won't feel the same as before. The internals of the shock changed, not just the branding.
