Got the truck back with it's new shoes and lift. The ride is a little more firm, but handles much better. The stiffness is hardly noticed. The 315's are close to the control arms but no rubbing there or on the front bumper.

The bumpers are at the powder coater and with a little luck I should get them on next week

Thanks LJ.

I went with Slee front and rear. The front seems to match the rear bumper nicely. I like the lower profile and the all steel bumper VS the ARB. It was a close match though with each having their pros and cons.

Of course as expected, very nice fit and finish. The powder is going to match the silver in the molding.

sounds awesome! I wish I could afford all the upgrades that everyone has been doing lately lol

^ X2, regarding the looks of your truck (awesome!) and the wishing for more $$$ for the various upgrades that I have been seeing; lift, front and rear bumpers, sliders, winch, underarmor (skids).

That is quite the improvement! Looks great and a very clean look to it. Looking forward to seeing it with the new bumpers...

What year is your truck?

Did you put wheel spacers on the front to fit 315s?

Any rubbing in the back side of the wheel well on turns and compression?

The truck is a 2004. I went with the OME 860 rear coils and OME Torsion Bars along with the OME Nitrochargers. The 860's were a medium load kit which are supposed to yield 2.5 inches. Aside from the bumpers I don't plan to add any additional weight. I will see how the 860's handle the rear bumper.

I had the original 18 inch wheels that came on the 04'. I wanted the 315 KM2 but wasn't able to find the tire size in KM2. I also wanted the possibility of going with the 315 KO which also wasn't available in an 18 inch wheel. Also after seeing the cost difference in an 18 inch wheel vs a 16 inch wheel (per tire) I ended up spending maybe 300 more and ended up with a complete set of unused 18 inch wheels which I may mount 33 inch KO's for long trips and such.

Tires fit without wheel spacers, although a close fit. By the looks of it I doubt anything larger than the 315's would fit, but I don't know from first hand experience so I maybe wront. I wasn't able to fully compress the wheel because I couldn't add constant pressure on the wheel and still crawl under the truck, but I did crank the wheel, got out of the truck, and looked underneath and there was no rubbing on the wheel well at full turn. I still can adjust the rubber stops to eliminate or minimize rubbing, but as I turn I don't hear rubbing.

I will take pics of the control arms and the sides when I get a chance.

And....did the diff drop but as of now I only have infamous leaky CV boot on the passenger side. Ill see if the shop will re-clamp it for cheap when I have it re aligned. If not I most likley will go the the Napa route and buy the clamp and clamping tool and do it myself.

Looks good! I like the 16" wheels better anyway. Of course, this is my opinion and I mean no disrespect to any 18" lovers out there.

I have both just in case. Defense before offense...
