Potentially looking to add an OME 2" spring lift to a basically stock 80. It currently has almost-new yellow Bilstein shocks installed.

Are these yellow Bilstein's Ok for the OME 2" lift?

Or do I need to buy the OME shocks as well?

They'll work. You'll just bottom out the shocks if you try to go crazy on flex.

I just ordered the Fox's 2.0 on flea bay a few days ago. $230 shipped for a pair. Get the 3"-4" lift shocks, then you'll never need to worry about bottoming out and if you go higher your still covered.

It will work and you will not bottom out the shocks, but because the shock is shorter you won't get full droop/flex.

If you install 4 inch shocks then you will have to extend your brake lines and extend your bumpstops or you will bottom out your longer shocks.
