I have been a member since 2011 and pretty much a lurker with only a handful of comments over the years. I sold my '99 just a couple of weeks ago to a local Mudder. I have wanted an FJ40 ever since high school when a buddy of mine had a '76. Well, that 30-year dream finally came true this past week. Shortly after selling the Hundy, I came across an FJ. It hit all the marks of what I was looking for. The bidding went as planned and I think I got a really sweet rig. Big thanks to @overton for putting the posting together as well as @Riverrunner with delivery, both were excellent during the entire transaction and would highly recommend them. Many of you may be familiar with this rig as it was originally built by @hatfieldcb and was then purchased by @PortageBay. It was just delivered yesterday and it is even better in person than expected. Chris and Bob built it the right way and maintained it the way it should be. I can't wait to get out on the trails and already have a couple of trips planned. Going to Rausch Creek, PA at the end of June and then looking forward to Outdoor Expo East in October as that is only a couple hours away in southern VA. I'm sure I will have lots of questions and inquires, but I will be sure and use the search function first before blasting the entire forum.
