Being steady of hand that you are... Consider taking it apart and cleaning it up. You might be able to rebuild it. Also if you go to a self service yard you might be able to find the same motor on other vehicles... The casing might be different but have the same stator etc. I would first try to clean up what you have as it may only need cleaning. It would seem odd that a wiper motor would get wornout from use unless it rains non stop there

both shops very high level of knowledge and craftsmanship
but, not cheap, worth the money, but one needs a big wallet

Great looking rig! The wheels look really good after the refresh. Did you have them refinished and if so what did you have done to them?

windshield wiper motor dying is sending me into “part not available” conundrum. Maybe heading off into the salvage yard direction
First at all, congratulations for keeping your rig in such great condition. I´m also a old guy...with an old 97 FZJ80....
I wonder if you have explore this site:

Genuine Japanese Car Part Imports - Amayama - https://www.amayama.com/en

Also, perhaps you want to give a try to this:

As parts become increasingly difficult to get seems to me hat restoration shops could be a valid alternative
Good luck!
Cheers!

I have installed a Wiper motor from O'Reilly Auto and it has been in for 10 years now with no issues.

O'Reilly Wiper Motor

In my OEM unit, the magnets came loose and stuck to the armature inside the motor. I still have it and intend to "rebuild" it at some point.
